The Firm

An overview of a budding Global Law Firm

Adejumo Ekisola & Ezeani is one of Nigeria's leading new-generation firms. Founded in Lagos in 1993 with the principal office in Lagos, the firm is expanding and looking to establish international offices in some strategic commercial cities in Africa. The offices will oversee an increasing overseas demand for innovative African legal insight within the multilateral commercial and financial sector. Our clients are public and privately held commercial businesses, financial and allied institutions, as well as governments and state-owned entities involved in sophisticated corporate and financial transactions and complex dispute resolution proceedings.

Commercial law practice is the foundation of our firm and we have been involved in transactions that continually demand broad perception of issues and excellent comprehension of different legal systems. Adejumo Ekisola & Ezeani Corporate Practice is experienced and well suited to handle a broad range of corporate transactions ranging from complex to general matters. Our commitment to each client is solid. We have at our disposal a large resource of multi-talented lawyers with an excellent command of multi-jurisdictional issues especially in the context of the U.S., English, European  and African legal systems.  Our knowledge, like our clients' interests, transcends geographic boundaries. All of our clients have access to the expertise of our lawyers, wherever they are based.

Adejumo, Ekisola & Ezeani functions as an integrated team. We combine the benefits of a partnership with the advantages of an associateship. We have and continue to acquire infrastructure that allows us to bring the firm’s wealth of experience and all its budding global resources to bear on each client’s most demanding business and legal issues promptly and efficiently. Our partners and associates have produced for the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) of the World Bank a compendium of investment laws and regulations in Nigeria. The work was published on  the website of the Investment Promotion Agency of the World Bank http://www.ipanet.com/.
